“Visualizing Drug Effects With in Vivo Imaging to Advance Therapeutic Development”
Abstract: Advances in in vivo imaging that combine fluorescent biosensors with user-friendly measurement approaches such as fiber photometry and miniature microscopes have been expediently adopted in neuroscience for mapping brain circuitry. In this talk I will highlight how such technology is being adapted in my Department to advance the development of therapeutics through better understanding of the effects of pharmacological manipulation on these circuits.
