Abstract: Innate and adaptive immune responses are key pathological processes in many neurological diseases. Successful drug development has led to life changing treatments particularly for patients suffering from multiple sclerosis. This talk focus on examples of recent drug discovery efforts in brain diseases particularly within inflammation and the advancement in cross-species translational tools.
