My professional profile and area of interest is wide ranging - but my fascination is found within the world of ions and transport embracing biochemistry, molecular biology, and electrophysiology. All areas where I have profound knowledge. For me it is important that my work can be related to real life problems - the goal is that it would make a difference! I highly appreciate learning processes and a dynamic, social and international working environment.
Primary fields of research
Ion and water transport and regulation - now focusing on the brain.
