The superpower of sleep
NEUROSCIENCE ON THE RADIO
Birgitte Rahbek Kornum, professor and researcher at the Department of Neuroscience, talks about vital sleep in “Genstart”, DR's news podcast.
We spend a third of our lives asleep. That magical, mysterious state of hibernation, where our senses are turned off, our consciousness is suspended, and our bodies regenerate. And the more research we do on sleep, the more we realise how important it is to us. However, today our sleep is disrupted by flashing lights and beeping notifications. So how do you get a good night's sleep amidst the modern noise?
Professor Birgitte Rahbek Kornum discusses sleep with Simon Stefanski as the host.
