New group members
The TransNeuro group is happy to welcome two new Postdocs, Søren Grubb, PhD and Bjørn Olav Hald, PhD. They both joined the lab in February 2017.
Søren has a background in biology and is an expert on research electrophysiology including patch clamp and calcium imaging. He will focus on the role of pericytes in the blood-brain barrier, with special regard to the basal lamina.
Bjørn is an expert on developing computational models of biological systems and using standard vascular techniques in the lab. He will use two-photon microscopy and functional activation of cortex to investigate the interplay between local neurovascular coupling and global blood flow regulation in the brain.
