My current research interest is focused on establishing in vitro neuronal and glial cell models of neurodegenerative disorders from patient-specific induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS Cells), including generation of isogenic controls using CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing system to correct the inherited mutation, furthermore, identifying novel disease mechanisms as well as pharmaceutical targets through integrative high-throughput omics profiling and microscopic imaging.
